This weekend I got the last of my holiday bits with these Topshop sandals ;) They come in gold and silver glitter but I went for the silver pair. They are available in stores and online now. I have posted both for you to decide, enjoy!

Kate and Beyonce Feeling Blue

Sorry readers, I was unable to post last week, because I was feeling under the weather.  However, I am happy to report that I'm now restored to good health, and just before my holiday, which is a blessing :) I am off to Dubai on Thursday and I will post right up until my much anticipated trip! Last Monday it seemed Kate Middleton and Beyonce were feeling blue, as they both opted for these gorgeous blue dresses, which made them look very radiant ;) We all know how Kate loves Reiss - she donned their blue Trina dress on Monday for her first public address at the Treehouse children's hospice. Kate and Reiss are the perfect match! And what can I say about Beyonce? After giving birth a few months ago, she looks like a yummy mummy in her blue v-neck Victoria Beckham dress. Both ladies keeping it British ;) Create the flattering look with my pick of blue dresses :)

I love denim jackets and in this trans-seasonal weather the secret is to keep your look relaxed and casual - the ultimate weekend wardrobe essential. I found this jacket by J Crew at Net-A-Porter and it's on my wish list ;) I personally would team it with either a feminine cut skirt or something with pretty detail to dress down the look for a fresh and understated feel. The three skirts I have posted from French Connection, Reiss and Mango are my crushes ;) I have the lace skirt from Mango to wear on holiday with a t-shirt and tan wedges.

Street Style Alert - The Zara Printed Dress

Fear not, I am back LLS readers after a long weekend. Last week I was so busy at work I didn't really have much time to post. There are now just under 10 days left until I'm off on holiday! Who Has That Friday Feeling?

I have that Friday feeling 100% and I can't wait for the weekend. Boy, has it been a long week! I have finally chosen my dress for the Grazia Style Awards, and it's from French Connection. It wasn't one of the dresses that I initially posted, but I plan to find my way to a store this weekend to try it on and see how it looks ;) Unfortunately, I couldn't get hold of an image of the white dress, but I have posted the same dress below in intimate pink. Pretty Sandals

Maybe it's because I'm preparing for my holiday that I'm on the hunt for some pretty daytime sandals. I don't have long to go now, in fact it's two weeks today and I can't wait. This week's been hectic at work so I haven't had a real chance to look at more holiday things. The Little White Dress

I mentioned on Sunday that my cousin got me tickets to the Grazia Middle East Style Awards in Dubai, which I am really excited about! I also found out that Henry Holland is hosting the event alongside model Poppy Delevigne. The only problem is the theme - white with a splash of colour. I have my eye on a few pretty white dresses, but I will save the bright accessories for another post, although I have a fair idea of what I want to go for ;) The great thing is the Arabian sun will give me a golden glow, so white will look great against my tanned skin. I'm Back With Some News - Grazia Middle East Style Awards

Sorry readers for no posts over last few days, it's been a manic working week! I was very disappointed on Thursday, because logging onto the H&M website to purchase my Marni pieces was a nightmare! I managed to get through to the checkout point and then the site crashed, and by the time I got home from work the collection had soldout. Oh well :( Did anyone else have the same problem?

Yesterday, I spent the day shopping with my husband, getting his holiday bits. If only it was as simple for us women hey? I'm still doing my holiday shopping, but I have to say, yesterday I got some cool bargains, which I will share with my readers in the coming week. Zara and H&M never fail me for holiday treats. Just when I thought I had come to the end of my shopping list, I received a surprise from my cousin in Dubai. She got us tickets for the Grazia Middle East Style Awards, taking place on 4th April at the stunning hotel The Madinat, Jumeirah. This is one of my favourite hotels in Dubai ;) very romantic and picturesque - what a fantastic event to attend. I have been told the theme is white with a splash of colour, which poses me a problem, as I have virtually nothing white in my entire wardrobe, so with most of my holiday budget already spent, I now have to search for my outfit!!

The Perfect Pair

Last night my Oasis leopard print trousers arrived in the post and they were gorgeous! I really liked them in store but they didn't have my size at the time :( Luckily, last week I was able to make use of their online leap year offer of 29% off! I was worried they wouldn't fit or would be too long, but actually they really complimented my figure. They fitted perfectly and I loved the feel of the soft material. I'm looking forward to wearing these on holiday with my tanned wedges and definitely recommend these!

Today Is The Day

It's finally arrived - the day that designer Marni launch their collection for H&M!!! Since the store unveiled its full Marni for H&M campaign pictures, starring Imogen Poots and Asian model Liu Wen in February, shoppers have been eagerly waiting. What can we expect from the collection? From printed silk shirts and contrasting silk trousers, to metallic wooden-heeled shoes and over-sized floral necklaces, the collection beautifully captures Consuelo Castiglioni's eclectic elegance. I have chosen my top three pieces from the collection; a gorgeous printed gold jacquard skirt, jumper with patent leather front section and large plastic flower necklace. I guarantee this collaboration will be another sell out!

Is This A Trend You Would Wear?

Get ready for Spring with the look of Hawaiian floral motifs and over sized palm leaf prints. One word comes to mind with this trend - Paradise. If you haven't already guessed, I'm talking about tropical print, which has exploded on the high street right now. Honestly, I'm not sure it's a trend I would go for as it's all about bright bold colours and tropical abstract print. If I were to experiment, I would start with something like a pair of trousers and match them with a plain top to ease myself in gently ;) Nobody has pulled-off this combination better than American fashionista Olivia Palermo at London Fashion Week, where she wore Topshop's favourite tropical print trousers. I love the way she took the print trousers an extra step further by pairing them with leopard print shoes. I have posted her donning these trousers to try to persuade you (and maybe myself!) to give this look a go! Has she won you over? It maybe a tad on the cooler side at the moment but at least you get a feel of paradise with this trend.
