Monday Pick Me Up
This morning driving to work it really didn't feel like almost mid-June. Go away rain ;( So to take my mind off the weather, and the fact that it's only Monday I have chosen some lovely treats from the high street. I bet you ladies need a little pick me up to start off the week. The Dorothy Perkins dress caught my eye straight away, I love the black print on the nude dress. The beige patent peep toes from Dune have been reduced to £52 so enjoy the Monday treat!

The Return Of The Maxi Skirt
Love London Style has been on holiday from blogging for a while, and as the Jubilee celebrations were taking place, I went into London to treat my mum to lunch and dinner. There were some great bargains out there and I had some fun trying lot's of maxi skirts. I have to admit, at the moment this weather doesn't feel like summer, but in August I'm going to Italy for a wedding and as usual I'm planning ahead ;) I have never been to Italy, so I'm really looking forward to my 3 days in Rome and 6 days in beautiful Sestri Lavante, where the wedding is taking place.

My Weekend Treats :)
I'm ready for the warm weather coming this week :) and at the weekend I was on the hunt for some lovely dresses to wear to work. Tomorrow I will post my hot picks but I purchased two from Warehouse, and they weren't my original choices but they looked lovely on. I went for two contrasting prints, floral and a graphic one ;) Both available online and in stores now.

Actress Jessica Alba was spotted out and about looking very radiant in this gorgeous red dress, she finished off her look with an edgy leather jacket and my favourite Prada tote on her arm. Two words come to mind effortlessly cool ;-)

It's the beginning of another week of work, but why not start the week by looking at my top Spring cardigans? ;) I don't know about you, ladies, but I think that in Spring it's always essential to have a nice light cardi on. I would say that in my wardrobe I have about ten cardis from light to chunky :-)

My Make-Up Essentials
So the May Day bank holiday weekend is over :( I was thinking about posts for today, and decided to focus on one of every lady's essentials - her make-up. I didn't do a lot of shopping in Dubai, but one thing I did stock up on was makeup. My must-have item for everyday wear is my black Bobbi Brown eyeliner pen - I love it and won't leave the house without my black eyeliner. I bought this make-up essential for myself, and had I known this pen was only available in Dubai, I would have also picked up one for my mum. A substitute that is available over here is the Lancome Artliner pen ;). It's a great liquid eyeliner - trust me, I have tried loads.
I also picked up my favourite Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich liquid foundation. I'm a fan of the sheer look for daytime, which isn't too heavy, and this one is perfect!
I wanted to try something different on my cheeks. I like adding a bit of warmth to my cheeks by mixing my bronzer and coral blush, the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick is fantastic, for this. I have posted my top five can't live without products ;)

The First Day Of The Weekend!
Today is the first day of our long weekend and I'm looking forward to relaxing ;) I did have dreams of the weather being nice and sunny :( but it doesn't look like it! A few months ago I posted on a Spring trend - Yellow. One store that has really taken on this trend right now is French Connection, they love yellow. What do you think? All items are available in store or online now. Right I'm off to get a haircut now so I will be back later this weekend ;) to share some more ideas with my readers.

May Mayhem and Love London Style is Back!
To all my Love London Style readers, as you may know, April was a no-post month for me, as coming back from holiday and then a few problems with my car kept me very busy! Well, today is the 1st May and I am hoping the rain will be on it's way out after this week. There's rain and then there is way too much rain! Infact last week I posted on FB that a must have item for April was definitely - MY BROLLEY!
Last weekend, I treated myself to the iPhone; my Blackberry was just not doing it for me at all...I love my phone because there are just so many Apps - it's wicked! Over the last day or so I have been playing around with Instagram ;) perfect for those snaps I can post on LLS.
So to kick-off my long break, I have selected a few personal favourites out at the moment, and I won't be taking anymore long breaks!
P.S Happy Anniversary to Kate and Will - One year on, and Kate, you're still my style icon ;) and my first dress is definitely a Kate dress.
