What do I do for a living?
For a start, I'm not employed within the fashion industry. I remain an outsider looking in. In my day job, I work at the European headquarters of a global automotive finance company - in the Risk Department, to be precise. I studied Geography at university and then went on to complete a Masters degree in Marketing & Business Management.
Why Have I started a fashion blog?
They always say you find yourself at some stage in life, and for me this moment came when I realised life is too short. I didn't want to regret not starting something I'm so passionate about. I am obsessed with fashion and addicted to people watching. My ability to spot what looks good has really stuck with me throughout the years and Love London Style is where I can share my personal style ideas. I love spotting good style on the streets of London, asking people what they are wearing and taking pictures of them to record on my blog. This is a great way to meet people and to post about my own fashion sensibilities and those of others that inspire me.
Why did I decide to call my blog Love London Style?
I have always loved going into London; from the moment I passed my driving test I was always in London with my older sister. I live on the outskirts of London and going to the big city was always like getting double pocket money! I think London is THE place to capture a unique street style and there is no better place to influence fashion trends. I also thought Love London Style as a name was very catchy and one of the few titles as yet unused by other blogs :-)
Describe your style?
My style - understated, effortlessly chic with the right accessory to complete the look. I love finding vintage accessories and mixing designer fashion with the high street.
Where do I see myself in 5 years?
I want to be a successful fashion blogger and a capable photographer. Maybe I still have some way to go - as my husband always says, Rome wasn't built in a day...I am really grateful for the support and help my husband has given me. This is my favourite photograph taken of us on our honeymoon in Kuala Lumpur in front of the Petronas Towers.
