I Heart Reiss Bags

My bag collection ranges from Chanel to Dior and Chloe, but my secret desire is for Reiss bags. I have around six in my wardrobe and I'm sure this number will only multiply. At the moment I'm using my black Richmond shoulder bag from Autumn 2011, which I also have in orange. But I would have to say that my all-time favourite is this mini sequined shoulder bag from 2009 (pictured below). This Spring is all about arm candy, from roomy shoppers to ladylike shoulder bags and stunning clutches - Reiss has them all. All bags are available in stores and online.

I Wish I Was A Little Bit Taller :)

I was sent an email from a reader asking about wide leg trousers and where a really smart pair could be found. It made me think of that song by Skee Lo, 'I Wish', because I too wish I was a little bit taller, or at least tall enough to pull off wide leg trousers! I guess that I could with very very high heels on, but then I face all the challenges that come with being on my feet in towering heels. For that reason, wide leg trousers haven't been on my radar, so when I was on the hunt for them I was lucky there are plenty out there. Personally I would style the trousers with a fitted tee or vest to really flatter the look and compliment the trousers ;) I have posted my fab five below.

I Love Miss Selfridge Necklaces

There are certain stores on the high street I always go back to time after time, especially for my accessories. For me, Miss Selfridge is the place for necklaces, and at the moment there is 25% off jewellery by Diva. I have ordered the Pink Rhinestone Thread Collar Necklace posted below to wear with a couple of tees I have in my wardrobe ;)  Here's my top three, all available online, enjoy!

No Manic Monday For Me

I love having Mondays off, you never get that feeling on Sunday night that everyone dreads! Last night was a big night in Hollywood as the Oscars took place and I have really enjoyed watching all the showbiz news this morning on the fashion failures and who was dressed to impress ;) Recently, I have been following Livia Firth's blog on Vogue and I absolutely love her style; so demure, classy and elegant. Here's the link for those of you who want to take a look at her fashion blog: http://www.vogue.co.uk/blogs/livia-firth

Who were my favourites for the night? There were quite a few I loved - obviously, Livia always looks gorgeous, and Michelle Williams, Berenice Bejo and Gwyneth Paltrow also hit the fashion highs.

My weekend was very busy, so unfortunately I wasn't able to take any pics of my style on Saturday, but I kept it very laid-back and went with my grey skinny jeans and grey knitted waistcoat over a black long sleeved t-shirt ;) I was out shopping with family and picked up a couple of great treats for my upcomming holiday! Firstly, I had my eye on these Sexy Boyfriend jeans from Gap and wanted to try them on to see how they fit. Ladies, they were perfect and I managed to get them on the 30% off denim offer - still available online. I wanted some relaxed fitting jeans for my holiday and they looked really nice on, perfect with flip-flops or a pair of converse. In the Arabian heat I don't want something too clingy so I thought these would be ideal! Sorry for the quality of the picture of me posted below, but it was taken very quickly!

I also tried on the Reiss chinos, which were another perfect fit, so they may well be my next buy once payday finally comes around ;) I was also treated to this grey enamel bangle from Banana Republic.

Street Style Alert - All Oasis Girl

It's been a busy weekend, but I didn't want to disappoint my readers with no post, so I have chosen this street style picture from London Fashion Week. Rachael was wearing Oasis from head to toe. She's a huge fan of Oasis, not least because she used to be a buyer for them! LLS absolutely loved this look ;) I have a number of accessories from Oasis, and I too am a big big fan.

My Net-A-Porter Wish List :)

For those readers who regularly follow my blog, I think you all know that I have a weakness for Net-A-Porter. I first discovered this website when I bought my Luella bag back in 2004, which I still love! Since then I've become hooked on this designer website..Honestly, every few months I develop a wish list of desirables from Net-A-Porter and then juggle my finances to accommodate some select purchases ;) My current three loves at the moment are these cute Burberry wellies, Current/Elliott jeans and this printed skirt from J-Crew.

So that's me done for this week, hope you've enjoyed my snippets from LFW. This weekend I will be busy with family so please come back next week and have a good weekend x

One To Watch Out For - Claudia Catzeflis

At London Fashion Week, one up-and-coming designer who really stood out from the crowd for me was Claudia Catzeflis. Folks, remember the name! Her fall/winter 2012 collection is her second collection and the sheer blouses were very much defined by hand crafted silk fabric and unique finishes. Last year she was named as one of the winners of the BFC/Elle Talent Launch Pad 2011/12, which allowed her to present her debut collection during last September's London Fashion Week. I took a few pictures of  some pieces from her new collection and this designer is definitely one to watch out for!

Dubai Dreaming...

Almost one month to go until my Dubai trip and once again I find my head in the holiday clouds, faraway exotic lands, lovely warm turquoise seas, sizzling temperatures, Arabian Nights! What triggered off this daydream was probably this old photo that I came across last night from my last trip there in 2010. This snap was taken outside the Dubai Mall - I kept it simple with a black French Connection skirt, white Topshop vest and taupe L.K. Bennett bag ;) So last night whilst mooching online for some more holiday must-haves, I found lots of potential holiday purchases ;) Let the countdown begin!

At The Top Of Their Game

This month Topshop is celebrating 10 years sponsoring British Fashion Council's NEWGEN scheme. The NEWGEN scheme was established by the BFC in 1993 and Topshop became the sole sponsor in 2002. The scheme is now the envy of the global fashion industry, acting as a promotional launch pad for young designers whilst also offering encouragement and support.

I think Topshop has come a long way in the last 15 years, and now has a significant presence on the British High Street, as well as also moving into the lucrative North American market, with stores in New York and Chicago. With the likes of Kate Moss and Mary Katrantzou collaborating with the brand in recent years, Topshop's transformation from a slightly cheap and tacky business to one of Britain's most edgy and creative stores is evident! Whenever I'm in the flagship store on Oxford Street it's always completely crazy with manic shoppers! Topshop has definitely mastered the art of quickly reacting to the latest catwalk trends, even sometimes managing to pre-empt them, and to reproduce them at affordable prices. Since expanding the empire to America, I have noticed things can be slightly expensive, but hey, I still always go back! Everyone loves Topshop, including Kate Moss, Alexa Chung and Kate Bosworth...The list goes on...

So Sir Phillip Green, this post is for you ;) and below are my new delights ;) not forgetting my pink knitted jumper from Saturday.

Street Style Alert - The Lovely Lace

On my way to London Fashion Week on Saturday I snapped this picture of Lace. Lace gave a lesson on how to wear red and finish off the look with a quirky pair of specs. Recently I posted on wearing red and have to say  that I loved the bright blazer with pale grey sandals. What do you think? Love her look?

London Fashion Week - Exhibtion Pictures

My personal highlights from the LFW exhibition on Saturday were the vintage inspired jewellery by Les Nereides, Lola Rose London and Erickson Beamon. They were stunning and dazzlingly eye-catching, especially as my weakness is gorgeous accessories. I'm actually wearing my Lola Rose chunky bangle today as it matches my dress. Take a look and enjoy :)
