TFI Friday

Another working week is over: risk specialist in the business world by day, fashion blogger by night ;) I'm going to have a chilled weekend and possibly hibernate due to the weather. Then again, weather permitting, I may yet venture into London to take some snaps. I will update you on my potential buys next week, and if I do make any purchases, I will be sure to share them with you too. I want to try and take some pictures of myself and gradually post them on my blog for you to enjoy. Have a lovely weekend to all my followers and hope you don't get snowed in! xoxo

Step Into Spring With My Selection From Zara

On Monday, I posted a patent leather shopper from Zara, which I bought for my holiday, and I promised I would post some pieces from their Spring collection. I have already started my list of 'must haves' from this collection. It's all about sheer pieces with a mix of prints and their classic staples - I can definitely tell Spring is in the air! Zara never fails to raise the stakes when it comes to bringing designer trends to the high street. I often get my work essentials from Zara and I love the fitting of their coats. One thing I do recommend, ladies, is always going into the store and trying the clothes on rather than buying online, because a lot of my friends find the sizes are a little small. Here's my capsule wardrobe ;)

I Can't Get Enough Of My......

I can't believe how much the temperature has dropped this week. For some bizarre reason I thought we had escaped the harsh winter when we reached mid-January without any frost! Wishful thinking hey? So this week I really can't get enough of my black Reiss fitted coat with a belt. I got it last year and I love how it fits. You can also wear the collar as a funnel neck coat - perfect for winter. Luckily, they still have my coat in stores -Reiss has just renamed it ;)

To Mix Or Not To Mix?

I don't know about you, but recently I have been really thinking about this recent trend of mixing prints. Is it one to try? It always looks appealing in the magazines, but in reality it's a different story! Nevertheless, it's one style I'm really thinking of trying this weekend, and the way I see it, if I don't give it a go, I will never know. OK, so I have definitely decided to go with my inner style guru and just go for it. The Topshop skirt I have posted below is the one I am going to pair with the River Island blouse. The best way to tackle this fashion frenzy is to have fun.  Am I going to convince you all to clash your prints with the eclectic ensemble I have posted below?
  1. Zara Dress and Zara Jacket
  2. Topshop Skirt and River Island blouse (my outfit)
  3. French Connection shorts and Oasis Top
  4. Oasis Trousers and Mango Top

Street Style - Caught With The Camera

While out in London with my camera I bumped into competition! She was also taking pictures of the trendies in London.

I Love Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays

This afternoon, I posted an assortment of ballerina pumps for my friend's trip to Tokyo and completely forgot that on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Net-A-Porter adds new items in its 'What's New For Today'. I love browsing online to see what new pieces they have added and just came across these pretty raffia ballet flats. Just the thing for Spring. So here's one more for you Jane.

A Friend In Need...Help

My best friend and I are travelling at the same time at the end of March, except I'm going to Dubai and she's off to Tokyo! She's a dedicated follower of LLS and has said she will use my blog for style inspiration, which made me smile :) For her trip she really wants to buy ballerina pumps, which must look chic but at the same time be comfortable to walk in. So she has asked me for advice on what to buy. I own quite a selection of flat pumps, as I'm constantly in high heels at work  and at the weekend like the to slip into a pair of stylish pumps. Now I know Jane is always hesitant to try different things but she has promised to go with my selection ;)
